The Presbytery Young People’s Guild Executives were formally inducted into office during a ceremony held on Sunday  19th of December, 2023, at the Bethel Congregation, Ahwiaa.

The new team, under the leadership of Bro. Ebenezer Amankwaa as the Superintendent, now assumes responsibility for guiding the youth of our Church in the Asante Presbytery.

The members of the newly appointed executive are as follows:

Ebenezer Amankwah        –  Superintendent

Bridgette A. Agyemang     –  Secretary

Justice Badu Duah            –  Assistant Secretary

Francis Agyei Sakyi           –  Organizing Secretary

Bismark Adusei                 –  Financial Secretary

Doris Boateng                     –  Treasurer

Ebenezer Appiah Tetteh      –  DP’s Representative

The induction ceremony was conducted by Rev. Dr. William Owusu Boateng, the Old Tafo District Minister, on behalf of the Chairperson. During the ceremony, he charged the newly appointed executive to embrace servant leadership, stressing the need to seek guidance from the Holy Spirit in their roles as Christian youth leaders.

Rev. Dr. Boateng cautioned against pride in their leadership journey, and urged them to willingly submit themselves to the authority of the Holy Spirit and the Church. The Young People’s Guild, through its leadership model, nurtures dedicated individuals capable of serving in various capacities within the church with utmost godliness.

Bro. Ebenezer Amankwah, in accepting the challenge of leading the youth at this significant juncture in history, outlined his vision to strengthen evangelism efforts among the Young People, enhance leadership capacity, and elevate spiritual consciousness among the youth.

Notable dignitaries present at the ceremony included Bro. Edwin Osei Ahwireng, the National YPG President, Bro. Paul Ayana, Asante Akyem Superintendent, Bro. Effah Michael Darkwah, Akuapem Presbytery Organizing Secretary, Bro. Amono Bright, Asante South Organizing Secretary, along with District Presidents and guilders from across the Presbytery.

May this new chapter for the YPG leadership bring about growth within the youth.
