The Ecumenical Social Relation (ESR) department of the Abuakwa-Asenemaso District in the Asante Presbytery organized a traditional service in all the local congregations in the District in order to honour the Lord for how far He has brought them.
At the head station, Asempa Congregation, the Minister in charge, Rev. Joseph Bosomah thanked God for giving us our culture, which is so beautiful. He explained that diversity in culture signifies unity and strength.
Mr. Yaw Adu Asare speaking on the theme “Getting hold of the Presbyterian Discipline” admonished members to go back to the values inculcated in us as Presbyterians in times of old. He added that discipline is the key to greater heights in all aspects of our physical and spiritual lives.
Some Nananom in the District like Nana Kyei Baafo and Wife (Nanayere), Nana Mintaa graced the occasion.
The occasion witnessed each member dressed in traditional outfits with varieties in Kente and Smocks.
