The Asante Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has officially launched “Agenda 2 Million,” a transformation growth agenda aimed at growing the membership of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana by Two (2) million by the year 2028. A core part of this ambitious agenda includes planting 1,000 new churches (Congregations) worldwide, with the Asante Presbytery, a leading Presbytery of the PCG, committing to establish 123 of these churches. MOTOR NO. 9 presented to Pakyi Manso District of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana on Friday 20th September, 2024. This is part of a broader initiative to resource the Districts for effective Evangelism. In five months, two (2) pickup vehicles and nine motorbikes have been presented to some Districts in the Presbytery. Chairperson further called on all to support this worthy initiative. Asante Presbytery continues to expand and currently the largest Presbytery in the PCG in terms of membership.
Mrs Kate Darkwah Fokuo, immediate past Ashanti Regional Manager of Presbyterian Schools retires from active service. At a brief service held in her honour, the Asante Presbytery Chairperson eulogized her for contributing immensely to the the Unit. Friends, colleagues, family and well-wishers were present to celebrate the goodness of the Lord with her.

11th November 2019 The Asante Presbytery marks another memorable graduation for three hundred and forty (340) trained Presbyters. This is the second batch of Presbyters to be graduated after the commencement of the training. The graduation comes after a series Training of the Presbyters to equip them with the requisite knowledge and skills to lead the various congregations they find themselves. This training comes off as a diligent response a General Assembly decision to take all Presbyters through the foundation syllabus prepared and used by the Ramseyer Training Center (RTC), Abetifi.
