Samuel Ahima-Yeboah, Chairperson of Asante Presbytery, assisted by the Presbytery Session Standing Committee, took place on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Ramseyer Congregation, Adum, Kumasi.
During the induction service, Rev. Ahima-Yeboah urged Rev. Nyantakyi to focus on making Presbyterian schools competitive and attractive. Delivering the sermon, Rev. Dr. Anokye Nkansah highlighted the historical importance of schools in the survival and growth of the Presbyterian Church in Ghana, emphasizing how education helped missionaries convert and build strong congregations.
In his response, Rev. Nyantakyi outlined his vision for the role, which includes intensifying supervision and monitoring, collaborating with stakeholders to invest in schools, and providing professional development for teachers to enhance their skills.
Mr. Daniel Yeboah Hienno, General Manager of Presbyterian Schools and National Director, encouraged stakeholders to actively support school operations. He specifically called on local managers and church sessions to show greater interest in sustaining and advancing Presbyterian schools.
