The TEK District of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has donated 50 plastic chairs to the KNUST Senior High School Chaplaincy in a gesture aimed at enhancing campus ministry efforts.
The donation, which took place on Friday, September 27, 2024, forms part of the TEK District’s strategic focus to strengthen its presence within educational institutions and particularly, to mobilize Presbyterian students at KNUST SHS for the formation of the National Union of Presbyterian Students–Ghana (NUPS-G).
Rev. Ernest Odame Asare, TEK District Minister, led the presentation of the chairs to the school’s management. He was accompanied by Ms. Evelyn Safoaa, District Clerk, and Mrs. Jemima Ohene Manu, District Coordinator for Education.
Receiving the donation, the Headmaster of KNUST SHS, Mr. Anthony Boasiako Antwi-Duodu expressed his appreciation to the TEK District for their generous contribution. He noted, “This will go a long way to support the physical and spiritual development of students in the school.”
