The Asante Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has inaugurated a 30-member National Crusade Adhoc Central Planning Committee to steer preparations for the 2026 National Crusade. The inauguration took place during the first sitting of the Asante Presbytery Session Council Standing Committee Meeting for the 2025/2026 Ecclesiastical year on Tuesday, 2nd September 2025.
The Committee is chaired by Rev. Ernest Odame Asare, TEK District Minister, and is tasked with overseeing all aspects of planning, coordination, and execution of the much-anticipated National Crusade scheduled for Wednesday 11th March to Friday 13th March 2026 at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi.

Samuel Kwaku Darko, Cat. Martin Osei-Buabeng, Mr. Paul Knight French, Dr. Richard Owusu-Afriyie, and Mrs. Ewurabena Sey.
Terms of Reference
The Committee is mandated to:
- Develop a comprehensive plan for the Crusade, including budgeting, fundraising, logistics, publicity, and spiritual preparations.
- Ensure that all activities of the Crusade reflect the mission and vision of the PCG.
- Plan major Crusade events, including Street Evangelism and a Health Walk on Saturday, 14th March 2026, within the Kumasi Metropolis.
- Coordinate with leadership at all levels of the Church to ensure full participation and engagement across the nation.
The 2026 National Crusade is expected to be one of the largest Evangelistic events in the history of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, particularly, Asante Presbytery, mobilizing thousands of members and reaching communities with the Gospel through Word, Witness, and Service.
