18th November 2019
The year 2019 has seen many well organised programmes from the Kumasi District of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. For a whole week, the District embarked upon ‘Asempatrew’ at Adumasa where members engaged in house to house as well as the use of a cinema van to evangelise the Gospel.
Climaxing the programme on Sunday at Adumasa in the open, the District Minister, Rev. Moses Opoku Agyemang expressed his appreciation to the entire membership of the District for dedicated service they rendered to make the programme ‘Asempatre’ a success. He added his voice to the political call for referendum in December, 2019. He urged members to exercise their voting right.
On the ecclesiastical theme: “Let Christ Be Formed in You”, he said, it is a solemn request on all Christians to demonstrate Christ-like living.
The programme reached out to many people in the area with about 50 people accepting Christ. A total of 16 out of the 50 joined the Sunday service. They were handed to the Minister-In-Charge of the Adumasa Congregation, Rev. Rose Addai to continue nurturing and help them to form Christ in them.
